Recipe of Cardamom drink or Homemade Sharbat Elaichi recipe

Sharbat e Elaichi or Cardamom Drink is very beneficial in summer season. with lemon juice it gives very unique taste and flavor while green color attracts eyes. 

Ingredients

Cardamom (elaichi/Ilachi  pod ): 50gram                               
Sugar: ¾ kg
Green Food Color: a pinch
Water: ½ kg
Lemon: ½ kg

Recipe:

Make cardamom (elaichi/Ilachi) powder. Cook cardamom powder in water until water remain half. Now add lemon juice in that and strain the water with strainer or cloth. Add sugar in the water and cook again. Cook the water and sugar on slow heat and stir frequently. When water started thicken, preserve the mixture in glass bottle or jar. You can enjoy cardamom drink by adding 2 tbsp of syrup in one glass water. Mix sugar and ice as your taste.

Take one tbsp of Charoli powder and mix it with a tsp of sandalwood powder add few drops of rose water for making paste Apply this paste on your face  for 20-30 minutes. After the mask dry out, Wipe off with moist cloth or cotton. This mask offer cooling effect to your skin.

Ingredients: 


ü      2 cones of freshly picked Sumac
ü      2 cups of fresh cold water

Sumac-Ade Preparation:


Chose ripen sumac, ripen sumac has a dark velvet color. Avoid taking Sumac cones immediately after rain since it tends to wash away the flavor. Remove small Sumac berries from the stems and place them in fresh cold water. Crush the berries with your hands for a couple of minutes, or you could alternatively put the mixture into a blender and let it blend away. Leave them in water about one or two hour depending on how strong of a flavour required. Now strain it by a cheesecloth mix sugar as per your taste. Drink is ready to serve cold with ice. Avoid hot water to prepare Sumac drink.
